The Story

Yves Saint Laurent, the iconic French fashion designer, launched the Rive Gauche line in 1966. This marked a departure from the traditional haute couture model, where garments were made-to-measure for individual clients. Rive Gauche, which translates to "Left Bank" in English, was named after the bohemian district of Paris where Saint Laurent had his boutique. Rive Gauche was a ready-to-wear line, offering high-quality, stylish clothing off the rack. This was a groundbreaking move at the time, as it democratized fashion, making designer clothing accessible to a wider audience.

Constructed of panelled angora wool. This very special piece is from AW2001 during Tom Ford's tenure at the house.

Shoulders: 13in
Pit to Pit: 13in
Length: 22in
Sleeve Length: 24in

Garment is stretchy so can accomodate anywhere from a Womens S-M in my opinion.
