The Story

Perhaps one of the oldest undercover pieces in existence. Takahashi named this collection after the famous french saying "Sous les pavés, la plage!" coined during the May 1968 protests in France. It has the double meaning of both "beneath the system of order lies nature/pleasure/vacation" and that the key to reaching that is civil insurrection, which in the traditional Parisian sport of barricading the streets involves tearing up the paving stones.

Shoulders: 13.5in
Pit to pit: 17.5in
