For those of you unaware, Sub Pop was a record label founded in Seattle in 1986, known for pioneering the "grunge" sound. The label gained significant attention for signing Nirvana, releasing their debut album "Bleach" in 1989. Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain, and Sub Pop became synonymous with the burgeoning Seattle music scene of the early 1990s, playing a pivotal role in bringing alternative rock to the mainstream.
